… it became clear that we want to stay, want to live here and realize a project that is in harmony with our experiences and wishes, with the people here, the regional environment and the world as a whole. It should provide us with a basis for life and enrich the lives of all those involved. We want to learn and use our knowledge and skills. We talked a lot about how we could improve the quality of life of local people and the environment through a project. We set ourselves the task of making all decisions with foresight, right from the start, using our resources in such a way that not only we benefit, but also future generations. All those affected should be involved, and different interests should be taken into account.

Based on our personal experiences, education and interests, we decided to direct our search in the direction of a “tourism project”. We explored the place and the surroundings for possible objects. We were already in love with Vejer de la Frontera, a small town in Andalusia, so we didn’t have to wander far.
